Angelo Remote Control Inc. will have its sixth annual Texas Indoor New Years Fly-in on Friday through Sunday, March 2-4 at the San Angelo Coliseum. The contest starts Friday at 6:00p.m. with the freestyle contest that features aerobatic routines set to popular music soundtracks. The hours for Saturday are 9:00a.m. -10:00p.m. and Sunday 9:00a.m. -6:00p.m. Vendors will be selling Remote Control items and there will be pilots available to answer any questions. Legal Aid of NorthWest Texas- San Angelo is sponsoring a Veterans Clinic on Saturday April 21st, 2012 from 9:30 a.m. to 12:00p.m. at the Stephens Central Library, 33 W. Beauregard, 3rd. floor. An appointment is recommended but Walk-ins are welcome( they will be pre-screened for eligibility). Attorneys will be providing Free Civil Legal Services to Income Eligible Veterans. Shannon Medical Center is accepting durable medical equipment donations.  Any and all durable medical equipment including, but not limited to, wheelchairs, walkers, shower chairs, tub transfer benches, and three in one chairs are accepted. Monetary donations to assist in the purchase of equipment is also accepted. The donated equipment will be available to anyone in need in the community. Equipment donations are accepted year round. To make  a monetary donation, please call Suzi Reynolds at 325-657-8343. If an individual has equipment to donate, but is physically unable to deliver the equipment to the hospital, arrangements may be made to pick up the items by contacting Paula Coulter at 325-657-8555.

The 3rd annual West Texas Trade Summit Welcome Event will take place on Wednesday, February 22nd at the Top of the Cactus Hotel from 7:00p.m. to 10:00 p.m. The cost is $20.
